We are asking everyone to join us in prayer for the people of South Sudan. We have been blessed to have one of our co-laborers in Christ that serves as coordinator in that nation. Although we were able to provide sound & video equipment, a generator and a three-wheelmotorcycle to help transport the equipment to do outreaches in communities surrounding Juba, that has become impossible because of the economic situation there. Because of the poverty, the value of their currency is almost 1/4 what it was. The recent drought in Uganda has stopped most of the food supply. There is no longer fuel available except for some government vehicles, so there is no fuel for the generator or the motor-bike. The faith of the Christians that live in that area is being tested and we are praying for a continued revival and harvest in that nation because the love of Jesus is even greater in our weakness. All that being said, we need continued prayer and wherever possible financial support. We are blessed to be in partnership with them. If you would like more information about Pr John & Sarah Light who coordinate the work that we are in partnership with in South Sudan, more information is available at www.harvestvisionministries.org.
