Harvest VisionCelebration October 2015

USA – Harvest Vision Celebration, Oct 24, 2015

Many thanks to the New Life at the Well church family that allowed us to use their facility in Mt. Vernon to celebrate the Lord's work in the harvest fields locally and in other parts of the world. David Serrano and his worship group from Manantial de Agua Viva blessed us with a wonderful move of the Holy Spirit. We are thankful for the many brothers and sisters that are always ready to share their musical gifts with the Body. It was a blessing to hear Cheryl share testimonies of the work that is being done to reach out to the homeless and those in need in Skagit County. Kylee shared about the work that the Harvest Kids are doing to help meet the needs of vulnerable children in Central Africa and just as importantly, the work that is being done to strengthen the faith and confidence of these young people as they discover the gifts that the Lord has put into each one and how they can, by having a relationship with Jesus Christ, make an eternal difference to the people in their sphere of influence. Rabecca showed a video and shared about the ongoing ministry in Mexico and about the upcoming mission trips to San Luis over Christmas and New Year's.  Ted shared another video about the evangelism and discipleship that our co-laborers in Central Africa are doing and some of the other work that is being done to meet the basic needs of the people. The evening end with prayer for Rabecca Williams and Cami Lawrence that will be leaving for Africa tomorrow (Sunday, 25th) taking with them ministry supplies (18 bags & trunks), including solar powered audio bibles in different languages, study bibles for pastors that have finished bible school, keyboards and other sound equipment, tents & mattresses for our outreach coordinators, water filters, anti-biotics, phones, 2,000 toothbrushes, clothes for orphans and many other much needed items. They are also taking money that will be used to purchase a copier for the bible schools, to register Comfort Africa (an NGO reaching out to orphans), to put a door on the home of the founder of the Nalidi Grace orphan school and to make application for a visa that Pr Martin needs to visit the USA in 2016. We are blessed to know that since we added two new coordinators in NW Uganda & N Kenya recently, we are witness to about 4,000 a month coming to salvation and being discipled in local church families, some newly planted.  We are very much in need of co-laborers that can partner with us in prayer and financially to support this trip and maintain the on-going ministry, especially monthly electronic givers that can give us a more stable support base. That allow us to focus more on expanding into other areas and countries as the Lord leads.
