Master’s Mechanics
We are currently working to realize a vision that we believe will serve a real need in Mexico as well as provide meaningful opportunity for involvement for those around the world with a common interest and God-given gift of mechanics. The vision is a ministry called “Master’s Mechanics”. In Spanish, “Mecánicos del Maestro”. The idea is simple: To provide a place, equipment and training for those who are, or are interested in becoming mechanics. At the same time, this ministry will open doors for those who are skilled mechanics to use their gifts and talents to teach those younger a practical skill as well as affording them the opportunity to mentor and disciple them in the Lord.
The ministry will also provide a maintenance program to keep the Harvest Vision vehicles that are used to support local churches, ministries and Christian leaders in safe and reliable condition. Many of the pastors and smaller churches in the outskirts of the city or in the villages on the outside of town, do not have sufficient funds or expertise to maintain any vehicles they might be using and our desire is to be able to help them with this ministry.
At present, this ministry has a few tools, and a workspace with a shop, pit, cover and bathroom. The “shop” still needs benches and shelves and the air compressor plumbed. Tools, including a welder, automobile manuals, and or parts and consumables, such as oil and fluids. If funding is available, parts and consumables can be purchased in Yuma or San Luis, Arizona, at prices comparable to anywhere else in the USA.
We ask that you pray as to how, or whether, the Lord would have you accompany us in the realization of this ministry. If you feel led to help in any way, please contact us.
The greatest gift will be sponsorship, friendship and prayer from the body of Christ around the world. |

We are strongly committed to intercede in prayer and to share our God-given talents and resources for the spreading of the gospel in Mexico. We work to recognize, encourage and support native missionaries that God has called to fulfill the Great Commission. Because of this, we are currently working to define a vision that we believe will serve a real need in Mexico as well as provide meaningful opportunity for involvement for those around the world.
The Ministry Resource Center is set up for this purpose. Simply put, this ministry has resources such as: a small office and fellowship facility; computer, internet, copier & fax; Spanish teaching supplies and library; Spanish videos and DVD’s; camera & video equipment; audio/visual equipment (sound system, projector, screens, TV, DVD/VCR player) and worship equipment (instruments, microphones, amplifiers, cables and stands). The ministry also has recreational equipment for outreaches, such as balls, pumps, balloons and carnival games. When needed, the ministry also provides accommodations for traveling ministers and their families. These resources are freely shared and used by those who are working to expand the Lord’s kingdom here on earth. As you can imagine, this ministry always has room to receive supplies that could be used to share with the Body of Christ. At the present time we are in need of a good, quiet generator to support outreaches in areas that have no power.
We ask that you pray as to how, or whether, the Lord would have you accompany us in this ministry. If you feel led to help in any way, please contact us.

Vehicle Ministry
We are strongly committed to intercede in prayer and to share our God-given talents and resources for the spreading of the gospel in Mexico. We work to recognize, encourage and support native missionaries that God has called to fulfill the Great Commission. To this end, the Lord has asked us to own and maintain safe and reliable vehicles to be available for use by those ministering the gospel here in Mexico.
At present we have: a 45 passenger bus, a 22 passenger short-bus and a 15 passenger van. These vehicles are used by local ministers and congregations to travel both in and out of San Luis. We recently added to this “fleet” an economical smaller minivan that will be used by those working locally with Harvest Vision.
We are currently in need of funding to repair windows on the larger bus and the van, repair the gas gauge on the large bus, provide roadside repair kits and spare tires for each of the vehicles and the costs of the normal scheduled maintenance needed (spark plugs, oil and air filter and oil and fluids).
If you feel led to help in any way, please contact us. |
